Calls to Worship: General
Come and see what God has done.
The work of the Lord is honorable
and glorious, and God's righteousness endures forever.
Let us remember the works of God in our lives!
Let us lift up our voices and hearts to the creator
of heaven and earth and all that dwells therein.
I will bless the Lord at all times; praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul makes it boast in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and be glad.
O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt the name of the Lord together!
For God is the fountain of life; in God's light all darkness flees:
and our lives have meaning. This is the day which the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
This is none other than the house of God and this is the gate of heaven.
The hour is coming , and now is, when the true worshipers will worship God in spirit and
truth, for such God seeks to worship Him.
Enter these gates with thanksgiving ,and these
courts with praise!
For our Lord deserves the songs f our hearts and the praise of our lips.
Give thanks to God,
and Bless the name of the Lord!
God is light and in God is no darkness at all.
If we walk in the light, as God is in the light,
we have true fellowship with one another.
O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt the
name of the Lord together!
For God is the fountain of life; in God's light we see light.
For darkness is as light with God and the Being of the Lord encompasses all time and
space.
In the midst of the congregation I will praise thee.
Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous, and give
thanks to God's holy name!
I will extol thee, my God and King, and bless thy name for ever and ever.
Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised,
and God's greatness is unsearchable.
The Lord reigns;
let the earth rejoice.
I will be glad and exult in thee,
I will sing praise to thy name, O Most High.
Thine, O lord, is the greatness,
and the power and the glory,
and the victory, and the majesty;
for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is thine;
O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.
Because thy steadfast love is better than life,
my will lips will praise thee,
and my living with reflect the joy of your gift of salvation.
It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing
praise to thy name, O Most high;
To declare thy steadfast love in the morning, and thy faithfulness by night.
Bless our God, O peoples, let the sound of his praise be heard.
My lips will shout for joy, when I sing praises to thee; my soul also, which thou hast
rescued.
The presence of the Lord is in this holy place;
Let awe and silence fill the whole earth.
O come, let us worship and bow down
Let us kneel before the Lord, our maker!
For God will hear our prayers, heal our diseases,
forgive our sins, and fill us with renewed vigor of life.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not rely on your own insight.
In all our ways we will acknowledge God, and
the Lord will make straight our paths.
Honor the Lord with your substance and
with the first fruits of all your possessions.
Then your needs will be met, and your net worth
will be surprising.
Happy is the person who finds wisdom,
and the individual who get understanding,
for the gain from it is better than gain from silver,
and its profit better than gold.
Wisdom is more precious than jewels,
and nothing you desire can compare with her.
Long life is in her right hand;
in her left hand are riches, honor, pleasantness,and peace.
She is a tree of life to those who possess her.
Wisdom is one of the great gifts of God.
O Lord, be gracious to us; we wait for thee.
Be our arm every morning,
and our salvation in the time of trouble.
Let the Lord be exalted for God dwells on high;
The Lord will fill Zion with justice and
righteousness ;
and will be the stability of our times,
Let us praise the Lord for an abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge;
and most of all that the Lord has endowed us
with the ability to perceive that God does exist.
O come and let us worship the greatness of the Lord!
For who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand
and marked off the heavens with a span,
enclosed the dust of the earth in a measure
and weighed the mountains in his scales and the hills in his balance?
There is none like unto the Lord our God.
To our God be praise and thanksgiving.
Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
Has it not been told you from the beginning?
Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?
It is God who sits about the circle of the earth, who stretches out the heavens like a
curtain,
and spreads them like a tent to dwell in;
who brings kings to nought,
and makes the rulers of the earth as nothing.
O Sing to the Lord a new song!
Let us praise the name of the Lord!
How beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of him who brings good tiding,
and of her who publishes peace;
and who brings tidings of good,
Break forth together into singing,
you waste places of Jerusalem;
for the Lord has comforted his people,
he has redeemed us all.
Blessed be the name of the Lord, forever!
Thanks be to God!
